  I worked there as a host in the dining area. The nurses would leave residents in the dining room from morning to dinner, and when asked to take them to their rooms cause the residents wanted to leave the dining room. The nurses would say they either wanted to stay there or they couldn't at that time take them back to their room and would then vanish. It was always poorly staffed and in that case they understaffed people to make up for this lack of employees. It was poorly managed and often neglected its workers to the point that it was not worth working there any longer. I would try to talk to the residents and help them with anything and everything I could while doing my job to the best of my ability. My manager would yell at me and my girlfriend since we both worked there at the time that we were moving too slow, while the directors daughter was doing little to none compared to what we were doing. Since she was the directors daughter her inability to do her job was overlooked. On more than one occasion I had walked into the bathroom to find feces and or a resident sitting in the dark screaming for help. If you love your family and want to make sure they receive the best care they can I would highly suggest not bringing them here. There was staff members that worked there that did amazing jobs but the lack of care by the remaining employees over shadowed their work.
